City Soapbox (14-18 March)

How bicycles can make our communities stronger, safer and more successful.

With five speakers over five days and lots of smart ideas this free lunchtime speaker series by the University Bicycle Club UWA will lift the lid on city design, mobility and how the humble bicycle can make your neighbourhood more liveable, friendlier and successful.

Speakers include transport planners, academics, local politicians plus some ordinary folk who know a thing or two about two-wheeled transport!

  • Learn how investing in bike infrastructure means big bang for the public buck
  • Discover the big dirty secret of urban cycling

Talks run for 30 mins with 15-20 minutes for Q&A afterwards. All talks are free and open to the public.
