Make like a leprechaun with the Albany St Patrick’s Day Bike Skills Ride.
This fun and highly accessible community bike skills ride caters to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with the opportunity to learn some valuable skills on the bike and discover how to put those skills to good use, whether for commuting to work or for leisure.
Learn how to ride in a straight line, avoid objects, turn tightly, emergency braking, understand your bike’s gears and ride with other people. Closed circuit area and shared paths to practice on. All participants receive the new Albany TravelSmart Map – a cycling, public transport and walking guide specific for Albany.
And be sure to stick around after the bike skills ride for the community barbeque at Emu Point.
